Such a little sweetheart!

What a proud big brother! I know these two are going to be the best of friends.

So I always have good intentions of keeping up with the blog, but as you can see it’s been about two months since my last post. I hope I can do a little better this year! Yesterday, I did a quick session with my own girls. They are my hardest subjects. The goal was to get an image I loved of them together. I had envisioned something soft and sweet and I’m so delighted with the final result! This is going to be printed BIG for our living room. After I got the shot of the two of them, they wanted to do a few individual shots too. This shoot only cost me three pieces of candy and playtime in the snow—not too bad!

She was all smiles!

Even got a little smile out him during the session!

Just one of my favorites from a recent outdoor session!

I’m a total sucker for chubby baby cheeks!

Another precious baby girl!

Mom and dad didn’t find out until she arrived……with two big brothers mom thought it would be another boy. Surprise–what a beautiful little girl! Here’s Miss Gentry….

I literally only take pictures of my kids two or three times a year and it’s always short (and not so sweet!). I don’t know what it is about photographer’s kids, but it seems that most of them HATE doing pictures for some strange reason. I had just a little bit of time yesterday and decided to go ahead and get our Christmas card images done before the grass completely dies. I’m so happy to have these taken care of now—one less thing to stress about! So, what do my girls charge for their services (and by services I mean dressing up and letting me do a mini session with them)???? A trip to Cracker Barrel. I know, bizarre huh? And not for the food……for the CANDY! We stopped in there once about 3 years ago (yes that long ago) for those great big lollipops and they still remember the little country store and all of the candy they sell. So, we are off to Cracker Barrel this morning so I can get them paid! Happy Halloween everyone–I hope your day is filled with lots of treats not tricks!
